Malawi Orphan Fund Christmas Appeal

A Gift of Light and Hope, Christmas 2026

This Christmas, you can help bring light and hope to the Home of Hope in Malawi.

A Gift of Light and Hope will support the repair and restoration of the solar power system at the Home of Hope's administration office. Frequent power cuts make reliable solar power essential to keeping this vital hub running.

The management and admin teams help coordinate the care and education of more than 700 young people across the site. Restoring reliable power will help staff continue their essential work, enabling the Home of Hope to provide care, support and opportunities that help children learn, grow and build brighter futures, improving their life chances.

Give a gift that brings hope

Looking for an alternative to a traditional Christmas present? Why not ask friends and family to donate to A Gift of Light and Hope instead of buying you a gift?

Anyone who donates will receive a link to our special Christmas greeting card in their CAF Donate thank-you email. They can personalise and print it to give to you as a reminder of their thoughtful gift in your honour.

Make a difference this Christmas

Every contribution, whatever the amount, will help bring reliable power and renewed hope to the Home of Hope.

Thank you for helping bring light and hope to Malawi.

Please note: All donations support the solar power restoration at Home of Hope’s admin office. In the event that surplus funds are raised above the required cost, they will be allocated to support our general work for the children in Malawi.
